Classes & Programs

English Language (ESL) Classes

This program aims to improve a students' English speaking and listening skills. You will improve your vocabulary and knowledge of everyday expressions, learn to communicate more effectively through interactive activities.

FREE English Language (ESL) Conversation Groups

Practice and improve your English conversation skills in a relaxing environment at our FREE English Language (ESL) Conversation Groups. Interact with others, make new friends, and learn to speak English with confidence! Everyone is welcome!

GED Preparation

This program provides high school level Math, English, Social Studies, and Science skills for adults who want to obtain their grade twelve equivalence in order to pursue employment, post-secondary credit, apprenticeship, or independence.

FREE Tutoring Program

Do you or someone you know wish to improve their reading, writing, math or basic computer skills? We offer free one-on-one tutoring with volunteer tutors to work on the learning goals identified by the student.

Seeking Board Members

We are looking for community members and agency representatives who are interested in becoming a board member. Through our belief that learning is a lifelong journey and that all individuals have a right to learn, we provide a variety of programs and services to enable individuals to enhance learning opportunities.

Become a Volunteer Tutor

If you are interested in promoting "lifelong learning" in your community, this may be
the opportunity for you to become involved and make a difference!

  •     Support an adult learner with reading/writing, numeracy (math), basic computer skills,
    English language (ESL)
  •     Time commitment is only 2 hrs. per week.
  •     Schedule is flexible.
  •     No experience is necessary. Training and resources are provided.
  •     Tutoring takes place in a public place, such as the library.
